PE Updates!

Dear Ordway Families,

First semester PE has been filled with a variety of new games and activities in the Ordway gym. We are working on all kinds of physical skills like throwing, catching, striking, running and more. We incorporated stations focusing on balance and winning and losing in game play. Students also completed an obstacle course. Some of the students' favorite games include scooters. We emphasize good sportsmanship and safety every day.

We appreciate the warm welcome from the students, staff and families at Ordway Elementary School.

“If you had fun, you won!”

Sincerely,
Amanda Bailey, Michele Shields and Noel Strand

BusRight

Coming Soon: Real-Time Bus Tracking for Families

We’re excited to announce a new partnership with BusRight, a school transportation technology company, to improve safety, efficiency, and communication in our bus system. The BusRight Parent App allows parents and guardians to track their child’s bus route in real time — right from their phone.

What this means for families:
Parents of bus riders will be able to create an account to view live bus locations, stop arrival time estimates, route details, and more.

When will it be available?
Families will receive an email THIS week with instructions on how to download the app and activate their account. The system will officially launch on February 2nd.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to transportation at 206-842-4641 with any questions. We’re looking forward to providing families with greater visibility and peace of mind in our student transportation system.

Conferences February 11-13 - No School
