Fees
Rental rates for all BISD facilities are listed in the fee schedule. Some rentals may also include custodial overtime or waste management fees, explained below.

Custodial Overtime
A BISD custodian must be present during all outside group rentals, and sometimes afterward, to keep everyone safe and make sure the space is secure and ready for the next group. If your reservation falls outside custodians’ normal working hours, custodial overtime fees apply.

When overtime applies:
✓ School year weekdays: Custodians work Monday–Friday through the swing shift, so most weekday rentals avoid overtime fees.
✓ Weekends and holidays: Subject to custodial overtime year-round.
✓ School breaks: During summer, winter, mid-winter and spring breaks, custodial schedules change, and overtime may apply depending on your reservation’s date and time.

If a holiday falls on a weekend, it will be observed the week before or after. Our facilities scheduling managers will let you know these dates if you request them.
Trash, Recycling & Compost
BISD will apply a fee to any group renting a BISD facility that does not properly use our 3-step trash, recycling and compost system where provided.
This system is currently available in the commons areas at Bainbridge High School, Woodward Middle School and Commodore Options School, with other BISD schools rolling out options soon. Thank you for doing your part for our community and the environment.
