Otter Trot Fundraising Updates

This is the last week of our Otter Trot FundraiserWe are at 59% of our goal, and with only 5 days to go, we are asking everyone to please get those donations in! Only 2 classrooms have qualified for the Popsicle/Movie Party but there is still time left! A big shout out to MD Structural Engineering for becoming a Platinum Sponsor this week! And a big thank you to the Ordway families who came out to BI/Suyematsu / Farms for Pumpkin Patch Day! The kids had a great time making crafts, getting their faces (and limbs) painted and chasing the tractor around the farm! Have a great, FUNdraising week and we'll see you on Friday to cheer on our otters!

Remember, the funds we raise from this drive supports:
  • Yearbooks and beginning-of-year school supplies
  • Fun activities like Boo Bash and Carnival
  • More important things like teacher grants
  • And future poet laureates, probably

Remember: each class that gets above $5000 gets a popsicle and movie day! And this week we’re going to start giving out some sweet participation prizes to a few random otters, so make sure you’ve at least checked-in in Rally Up!

Current Class leaderboard (top 6):

  1. El Velero 1st Grade $5,090
  2. El Velero 2nd Grade $5,028
  3. Ebenhoeh Anderson 3rd Grade $4,735
  4. El Velero 3rd Grade $3,642

levy

Learn More about the EP&O Supplemental Levy

This levy helps bridge the gap between what the state funds and what it actually costs to provide the education our community values—supporting strong academics, creative opportunities, and the well-being of every student.
Proposed rate: $0.08 per $1,000 of assessed value in 2026, $0.11 in 2027, and $0.13 in 2028. Even with this addition, overall school taxes will decrease as older bond taxes expire.

Zoom Information Session:
