Sam Cameron
Hi Bulldog Families!

We cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow, the excitement this past week has been palpable! My message this week is really just focused on starting our year smooth and getting used to a new routine. First, I'd like to share a brief snapshot at what tomorrow morning will look like:
  • Buses arrive around 7:35 and families dropping off will start letting kids out of their cars (*please note, our staff supervision starts at 7:35, so we ask that any students on campus prior to that time are accompanied by an adult)
  • Students eating breakfast at school (all students are welcome, please contact the office if you are interested) will go into the cafeteria by the playground doors starting at 7:35
  • As students gather at the front we will have them form 4 lines before entering the building. I will greet them and welcome each line inside at 7:40
  • Students arriving after 7:40 will walk in through the front doors and head to class
  • At 7:50 our tardy bell will ring and students will be routed to the front office to check in before going to class (as a reminder, we will not be taking tardies the first week or so to ease with possible stress from the Eagle Harbor Drive closure)
  • On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we will have staff floating throughout the building (especially in the morning) to help students navigate new spaces, find their classrooms, hold space with emotions and connect with our students (this will also be in place Friday when Kindergarten starts)
The first few weeks of school our staff are focused on building relationships, establishing routines and expectations and fostering a connected community. All August I have witnessed staff going above and beyond to prepare for the start of the year with the highest degree of care and intentionality. We are so excited to welcome your child(ren) tomorrow and kick off the 2025-2026 school year! If I can be of any support, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you, Bulldogs- see you tomorrow!
