Welcome back to school Commodore Options K-12 families!

We are all looking forward to a fun, positive, engaging, and productive year together. I hope you were able to enjoy the our sunny and warm PNW summer. Our building has been a bit messy with earthquake/seismic retrofit projects...and our teachers worked to the last minute to prepare their classrooms for our students. Our staff is amazing and they all show up for the students, each other, and our families.

We have new staff in our building and some additional shared staff this year. Please help to welcome the following teachers:
Laura Bentz: K-8 Special Ed
Krista Shei: Co-LAB Special Ed
Nick Wheeler: K-8 PE
Bryn Lashmet: K-6 Interventionist (same Bryn, new role!)
Heidi Langendorff: K-6 Interventionist
Erin Wiley: K-8 SLP
Joanne Reeder: EHHS Registrar and Office Assistant (Mairead is on leave for a year.)
Laura Nelson: District HC teacher and K-6 Library support (Enrichment on Mondays for K-6)
Mona Swanson: 9-12 School Psych
Sabrina Lashmet: Building Tech (shared role with Ben!)

We all know change can be challenging, but it is also healthy for growth. I am so grateful for all of our returning and new staff who support COS K-12 and BISD. We are going to have an AMAZING year together!

Thank you all for your support and commitment to COS K-12! Take care and enjoy!
With appreciation,
Tricia Corsetti, Principal
