Winter One Acts

The annual show of talent is taking place this year at Woodward Middle School for one weekend only. Friday, 2/7 (at 7pm) and Saturday, 2/8 for two showings (3pm and 7pm), the Winter One Acts are a collaborative production showcasing original scripts and a stellar cast of talented students.

Spring Sports Registration

Registration for Spring Sports is now open. See the link here or visit Athletics/Spring Sports on the BHS Website. Register early to ensure you are cleared to try out on March 2nd. Concussion Baseline testing for spring athletes will be offered on February 25, 26, and 27 3:30 - 4:30 in room 207.

Blood Drive

Attention students 16 years or older. BHS Athletic Medicine Club is hosting another blood drive on Wednesday, February 5th. Donating blood is safe and easy and can save up to three lives, including those of cancer patients, people undergoing surgery, and people involved in accidents. If you are interested in donating blood, sign up at the table outside Commodore at lunch. If you are under the age of 18, you will need a permission form. During the fall drive, 36 people donated blood! Let's make it 46 this time!

AMC Test

Attention all math wizards. Sign up for the AMC math competition which will be given second period February 5th. Competitive colleges like to see your AMC score. Bring $5 to Sarah Spray in the Accounting office. First come first served.

ASVAB Testing

Tutoring at BYS

BYS offers one-time or on-going support in most subjects and levels by appointment Monday-Thursday right after school. If you could use some academic support, go ahead and request a tutor. If you are interested in becoming a tutor and supporting other students, please sign up to be a Think Tank Tutor in exchange for community service hours. Scholarship Opportunities

Rotary Scholarships are available to graduating seniors.
Community Service Recognition Scholarship:Can you demonstrate a consistent pattern of commitment to, and leadership in, community service?
Biddle Memorial Scholarship (administered by Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island): Have you made a noteworthy contribution to an athletic/sports team(s), club(s), or organization(s) in the form of leadership, mentorship, sportsmanship, and/or ambassadorship?
Awards are for up to $5,000 per student. Financial need is not a consideration in the selection process. Updated Application Forms for 2020 will be posted on the RCBI website by Jan 1 and must be completed and submitted by March 9, 2020 at 5pm. The number awarded depends on the applicant pool.
