Test to Stay optional program for unvaccinated students who are identified as a close contact to a COVID-positive individual.
WHAT: The Test to Stay program is designed to allow unvaccinated, non-symptomatic students a modified quarantine experience to remain at school during the period they would normally be quarantined and unable to attend school.
WHY: It reduces time away from school for unvaccinated students who are identified as close contacts to COVID-positive cases.
HOW IT WORKS: Students must be tested for COVID-19 at the BISD testing site on specific days and remain negative. If a student skips a scheduled test, they will be removed from the Test to Stay program and the traditional quarantine process would be implemented. If they test positive, they will move to an isolation status and remain at home,
