Wilkes 4th Graders Capture the Beauty of Washington State

Part of the fourth-grade curriculum includes a unit on Washington state history. Wilkes 4th graders painted watercolor scenes of Washington and captured our state's beauty so well! In art class, they studied ways to show perspectives including over-lapping elements, changes in color, winding paths and using foreground, middle-ground and background. These beauties would make terrific postcards!
