¡Que excelente! EHHS student selected to participate in the Washington World Fellows Program.

Eagle Harbor High School student, Ava Rockefeller Campbell, was selected as one of 15 Washington State sophomores to participate this year in the Washington World Fellows program. In partnership between the office of the Lt. Governor of Washington state, Cyrus Habib, the Association of Washington Generals (ambassadors of trade, tourism, and goodwill), and the University of León, Ava and her cohort will study this summer in León, Spain for six weeks. In addition to having a life-changing study abroad experience, she will earn college credit by studying the Spanish language at the University of León, be immersed in Spanish culture through living with a local home stay family, will take guided field trips to learn about the history and culture of that region of Spain.

Once she returns home, she will participate in two years of rigorous college preparation and have unique leadership opportunities. As a fellowship, the cost of this program will be borne by the generous sponsors who support the Washington Association of Generals.
