Wilkes Announcements

  • NEW:  "Back to School Check-In" for the 18-19 School Year!  For All Returning Students

This new process will be available through Family Access.  All parents must log into their child's skyward account in order to complete it.  This process allows us to collect information about students returning to the district next year. Having an accurate understanding of the number of returning students helps us to determine staffing, class size and building capacity to better serve the needs of our students.

The Online Check-In process also allows the district to fulfill annual notification requirements for public schools in Washington State in an efficient manner.
If your student is not returning next year, please call the school office where your child currently attends and let them know your intentions.  Or email Liz Potter, lpotter@bisd303.org.
NOTE: The Back to School Check-In process must be completed and submitted to the district in order to access your student's class placement for next year. Please complete this process no later than the second week of August. Class placement will become available sometime in August for the 18-19 school year.

You can access the Check-In process on your computer through Skyward or on your mobile device by choosing "Desktop" access in the Skyward mobile app.

  • Do you have an hour a week to volunteer to help a child develop their skills?   Become a mentor or docent!   We are looking to develop a small army of volunteers to actively support Wilkes students in developing world class math, reading and writing skills.   Contact Principal Amii Pratt - apratt@bisd303.org    We can likely arrange a volunteer opportunity to match your interests and schedule.
