We are going to have a great year learning to be better readers, writers, speakers, and thinkers.  

About Me:

I began teaching at Sakai in 2016.  Each year, I can't wait to meet my new students and see how I can help each one become a better reader, writer, and thinker.  This year we will read, write, map, plan, draw, observe, discuss, and teach each other. We learn together in my classroom.  

My Background:

I am a mom to twins that attend Sakai.  I spent 12 years teaching in Atlanta, Raleigh, and Philadelphia. I spend a lot of time on local trails, at the beach, and traveling during the summer.  I love life, adventure, learning, and helping others to do the same.  I am grateful to have a job that I love and look forward to every day.
