WELCOME!

 

This is my ninth year as a teacher librarian in Bainbridge Island School District. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve in this role supporting literacy and learning in our school community. For the 2023-2024 school year I will be working at Blakely Elementary and Sakai Intermediate School.

 

I began teaching in 1992 in the areas of special education and reading intervention. My Masters of Arts in Teaching focused on students with learning disabilities.

 

In 2007, I completed a Master of Library Science degree. Before working for Bainbridge Island School District, I was the school librarian at Bertschi School in Seattle and at Island Park Elementary in Mercer Island School District.

 

I live on Bainbridge Island and enjoy hiking around Fort Ward. Maybe I will see you there!
