• The Spring sports season starts

    Monday, February 27th
    (Feb. 20 for girls lacrosse!)

Welcome to spring sports at Bainbridge High School!  We are happy to say we offer the following sports:  baseball, fastpitch, boys soccer, tennis, track and field.   Additionally, BHS students may elect to participate in these community sponsored programs: crew, lacrosse, sailing, ultimate frisbee, girls water polo*   Please follow the links to the left to find out more specific information on these opportunities.

All athletes for BHS teams and community sponsored clubs are required to have completed the online registration before tryouts begin.  They must also have a current physical (good for two years) on file in the office.  Your physical must not expire during the season.  If you have a new one, please bring it to the main office.

The Metro League offers a website for all our teams.  If you'd like to see a specific sport schedule or find out what is happening this week, please click here.  Click on the blue and gold B at the top and choose your sport from the drop down menu.

*While club sports are recognized as opportunities for our students to engage in specific sports and activities, they are not overseen by the Bainbridge Island School District and are managed by outside independent organizations. As a result, club sports are not district directed and are not subject to the policies and procedures of BISD. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to research and evaluate the club sport(s) prior to enrolling students.

Bainbridge Island School District does not sponsor or supervise club sports, and the district assumes no responsibility for club sports’ coaches, volunteers, transportation or any aspect of the club.  Questions related to clearance procedures for club sport volunteers should be directed to the organization directing the activity.  The Bainbridge Island School District shall be held harmless from any cause of action filed in any court or administrative tribunal arising out of allowing the club sports to be listed on the BISD website. This includes costs, attorney's fees, and judgments or awards.
