Karen Knezevichkknezevich@bisd303.org206-780-6528I am incredibly lucky to be a part of the Sakai staff. This will be my third year at Sakai, and it has been a wonderful opportunity to work with the students, families, and staff at this school. It really is a family.I have had a wonderful career in education and believe that working with students is where my heart is happiest. I moved to Washington from Colorado in 2012. I have taught multiple grades in the regular classroom and in special education. I have been a college counselor working with middle and high school students, an assistant principal, and a principal. I returned to teaching students with special needs when I moved to Washington.
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy anythings sports-related, cooking, reading, knitting, and travelling. I have two furry family members at my house who provide me with limitless smiles and great stories.
I am looking forward to this year and getting to know each of you.
