Who?
The Adult Living Program serves students with Individual Education Plans , ages 18-21 years of age, who have met state graduation requirements, but who desire to develop further skill development and support in their transition to life as a young adult.
What?
Students are provided instruction, coaching and guidance in acquiring the skills needed to become independent to the greatest extent possible at home, on the job, and in the community.
Where?
ALP classrooms are located in portable F & E near Ordway Elementary school in Bainbridge. Learning experiences happen in our classes as well as through vocational training sites and field trips throughout the community.
How?
Students attending ALP learn productive living skills, work preparation habits, job readiness skills, personal safety, community travel and recreation resources, while also developing positive interpersonal communication and social emotional skills .
