     Welcome Families!
I am excited about seeing each of you on Tuesday, September 2, 2:30 at our Meet and Greet. Students, you are welcome to bring your supplies so you don't have to carry them on the bus.
Since it will be warm next week, please send water bottles with your students.
We welcome volunteers and hope you will sign up on Back-to-School night, September 17th.
Fourth graders usually go to Islandwood for Outdoor School in late spring. There is an important short meeting about Islandwood immediately following our back-to-school night for parents.
We are going to have a great year!

  • Changing Seasons

Posted by Mary Madison on 8/27/2014
Have you noticed the change of evenings? It's cooler in the mornings, too. The flying ants have arrived and the flowers are tired. Have any of your vegetables started to go to seed?
Look around and see what changes of the seasons you notice. Let's talk about it next week!

  • Poet Performance

Posted by Mary Madison on 4/30/2013
Through the Bainbridge Island Arts & Humanities Council, we had poet Vicky Edmonds come for 3 days to guide our students writing poetry.  Next, Ed Sheridan, storyteller, came to tell two tales.  We concluded with a performance by Troy Osaki, U. of W. senior. Troy is a poetry performer who has competed around the country.
