2021-2022 Sports start

BHS offers the following sports for Season 2:  Baseball, Boys Soccer, Boys and Girls Golf, Boys and Girls Track, Girls Tennis, and Fastpitch Softball. Please follow the links to the left to find out more specific information on these opportunities.

All athletes must have a current physical exam on file in the office before turning out for a team. Physical exams are considered current for two years from the date of the exam. This WIAA Form  is the preferred physical form, but we also accept physical forms from pediatrician offices as long as they state that the athlete is cleared to play sports.

All athletes must also have a baseline concussion test on file in the office. For this year only, we are not requiring updated baseline tests, so any athlete with a test on file from previous years will be considered current and no further action is required until the 2021-2022 school year.  Athletes in the 9th grade, athletes new to BHS, and athletes who have never taken a baseline test before will be required to take a baseline concussion test prior to turning out for a team.  We will be administering tests to Season 2 Athletes  the week of March 8 - please respond to the "Concussion Baseline Test Needed" email you will recieve. The concussion baseline test takes about one hour to complete, and can only be done at BHS.

*For the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year, Bainbridge will align with the Olympic Pivot League, which is comprised of Bremerton, Central Kitsap, Chimacum, Klahowa, Kingston, North Kitsap, North Mason, Olympic, Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Sequim, and South Kitsap.

**The Governor’s Office and Washington State Department of Health issued new guidance for returning to education-based sports and activities, on January 5. The WIAA has summarized those guidelines and added clarity for school programs.  Please review this Healthy Washington Sport & Activity Guidelines and the WIAA website
