XTRA Math
This is a great opportunity to practice for fact fluency. It focuses on "time", and does not allow the kids to progress until fluency is shown. A great way to spend 15-20 minutes a day! -
Factoris
This is a fun way to develop fact memorization (and understanding). Using skills you might remember from the old "Tetris" game, students can work on their multiplication facts, as well as manipulate arrays to fit one another. -
Common Core Standards
Here's a link to Washington State's page on the new Common Core Standards. -
Bainbridge Island Japanese American Community
A wonderful, comprehensive site that looks at the Japanese American presence on the island--both historical and current. Look at photos, watch oral history interviews and much more. -
Bainbridge Island Historical Society
An excellent place to visit, either online or--better yet--in person! -
Manzanar National Historical Site
This is a wonderful resource for students learning about the Japanese American Internment experience here on Bainbridge Island.
