There will be further information and guidance to come!Interested in joining NHS? You must be a current sophomore or junior to be eligible to join NHS. In September, look for an email from me or our NHS officers inviting you to our new member meeting. The invitation will be based upon your cumulative GPA which must be a 3.5 or higher to join. At this meeting is where you will get a copy of our bylaws as well as the contract. You MUST return the signed contract to Ms. Layton to be considered a member of NHS. We will then have our induction ceremony in May.
All members joining NHS are required to read and sign the bylaws and discipline contract and return to Ms. Layton in room 228 by October 31st of the first year of joining NHS.

Please note as of 2019 the fee process has changed. It is now a $30 membership fee UPON JOINING (not yearly).

COMMUNITY SERVICE /AWARDS INFO
A reminder that all community service forms are due the Friday after spring break every year due to ordering of awards. It is great to show your leadership and character and get those hours in on time. (Minimum requirement: 45 hours by April of senior year)
Recommendation - turn your hours in as you complete them!
* For rotary auction volunteer hours, print the email stating your hours and turn that in. You do not need to do an additional hours form.Looking for a tutor or needing to complete hours??? Contact Bainbridge Youth Services and let them know which subjects you are looking for help in or which subject you could help a peer in!All BHS students (NHS or not) who complete over 100 hours within one documented calendar year are eligible to earn a Presidential Service Medal.
