• Our school is very proud of the art that is a part of our building.  Some of the work honors the contributions of the Japanese-American community on the island and memorializes the time of Japanese exclusion on Bainbridge.  Other pieces feature the school's strong ties to the environment and special focus on the salmon stream behind our building.

Two very important art installations memorialize the lives of two students who died while students at Sakai.  They are greatly missed by the staff and students who knew them.

The picture tour on the right features some of our favorite pieces.
