CTE Programs prepare students for their post-secondary education and career success by providing access to hands on learning focused on teaching the skills for today's economy. Each Program Area provides a series of courses designed to prepare students for different career paths and links to post-secondary educational opportunities. Students also learn valuable 21st century leadership skills that will prepare them to be productive citizens in our Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) as well as through our career connected and Work-Based Learning opportunities. 

BISD Career and Technical Education offers a wide range of Academic Courses in multiple different Program Areas. Each program area operates a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), or club that offers extended leadership opportunities. Our Career Center facilitates multiple different career connections under the umbrella of our Work-Based Learning Program.
