I am a chemistry and physics teacher at Bainbridge High School, where I've taught since Sept. of 2005.
I haven't always been a teacher though. Before going back for my education degree to teach, I worked for about 3 years (1999-2002) at Intel in Hillsboro, OR, as a component design engineer. At Intel I helped optimize parts of the Coppermine and Tualatin cores of the Pentium 3 processors, as well as designed part of the Prescott core Pentium 4 processor.
I decided that engineering wasn't as fulfilling as I had hoped, and went back to school for a teaching degree, and that's how I got here.
