Other stuff

I've taught French (and English) at Bainbridge High School since 1985.  I'm a Historic Preservation Commissioner for the City of Cle Elum.  I have two adult sons, one of whom co-wrote a book with me, published in 2018, on the Cle Elum Fire of 1918.  I have two aging cats--actually only one, now: we lost sweet Maisie in January, 2022.  I live in West Seattle, where I grew up, with my life partner, Paul.  I love music (playing & listening), the band Tri Yann, being on or in the water, creating with yarn, reading, cooking and, of course, eating!  My favorite part of France is Brittany, the northwestern region of the hexagon.
