    Hello Everyone!

Here are a few fingerplays and action rhymes for this week's articulation and language activities!

    My Little Turtle
This is my turtle.                 Hold fist in front of chest, with the thumb tucked inside the fist.
    He lives in a shell.
He likes his home very well.

He pokes his head out.        Thumb pops out of fist.
    When he wants to eat.

And he pulls it back.             Tuck thumb back into fist.
    When he wants to sleep.

This one is one of my favorites.
    Six Little Ducks
Six little ducks that I once knew.                               ( Hold up all fingers and thumb on one hand and one more finger on the other hand).
Fat ducks, skinny ducks.  Fair ducks too.                  ( Wiggle fingers)
But the one little duck with a finger on his back,          ( Hold up one finger)
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.             ( The duck on one hand then leads the other hand away)
Down to the river, they would go, wibble-wobble, wibble-wobble to and fro. ( Put both hands together and move them back and forth)
But the one little duck with a feather on his back         ( Hold up one finger only)
He led the others with a quack, quack, quack! Quack, quack, quack. Quack, quack, quack.  He led the others with a quack , quack, quack.  (Hold up and lead them away to the meadow).

    Up to the Ceiling
Up to the ceiling, ( Raise both hands above head)
Down to the floor ( Both hands to down waist)
Left to the window (Whole left arm points to the left)
This is my right hand (lift right hand above head).   Raise it up high.
This is my left hand (left hand is now above the head with the right hand). Raise it to the sky.
Right hand, left hand ( Place hands about the level of your belly button.  Right on top of the left.)
    Twirl them around.
Left hand, right hand.  Pound, pound, pound. (Keep both hands about belly button level and pound the left hand with the right hand).
