I'm originally from the far-away magical land of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I have lived on beautiful Bainbridge Island with my husband for over 20 years.
After college, I acquired my Master’s Degree in educational technology from Lesley University, and earned a principal’s certification from the UW. I've been a principal, but I'm a teacher at heart. On Bainbridge, I taught at Woodward and then I transferred to Sakai when it opened in 2000. I have been a classroom teacher for both the 5th grade and 6th grade at Sakai.
I love travel, history and art. I love to learn new things. For kicks I read, go camping and hiking, and listen to music. When I really need to find my happy, I play the guitar. I sing at the top of my lungs but only when no one is home.
Welcome to Sakai; we will have a lot of fun learning together this year!
