Welcome new and returning 6th graders! I'm so excited that you'll be part of my math and language arts classes this year!
 
Here's a little bit about myself.....I'm a Northwest Washington native and have lived on Bainbridge Island for 21 years. I have two sons who grew up here.....a 24-year-old son who now lives and works in Seattle, and a 20-year-old son who is at the University of Hawaii. I also have a black lab named Koda and a cat named Ziggy. Outside of school, I love to run or hike local trails, paddle on the sound, spend time with friends and family, and explore new places - near and far.
 
I earned my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Washington and my Masters in Teaching from City University.  Altogether, I've been working in the Bainbridge Island School District for 16 years, as both a paraeducator and certificated classroom teacher, working primarily in 4th through 6th grades.
