Coach Jen has loved all sports her whole life and started playing volleyball over 25 years ago. As a young player she got to travel all over the country playing club volleyball. Her Ft. Lauderdale, FL high school team won the State Championship three years in a row. As a senior, Jen was recruited to attend the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. She was a starter all four years and garnished multiple school records and earned numerous league honors. In November 2016, she was named to the Patriot League Silver Anniversary Volleyball Team, which recognized the top 25 athletes over the past 25 years. Upon graduation, Jen was commissioned into the U.S. Marine Corps, a pesky shoulder injury cut her military time short and she began playing and coaching for fun. Coach Jen enjoys sharing her love and respect for the game and it’s players.
Jen spent several seasons coaching OPVBC at the 14, 15, 17 and 18 year old levels. She also coached Club and Middle school in Collierville, TN. While she enjoys the younger ages, she also likes the tactics and speed involved in the older age groups. Jen is Impact certified and previously completed CAP I Certification.
Jen is happily married to an active duty Naval Officer, has two children (John and Rebecca) and their fun loving yellow lab Daisy.
