High School Students at Island Rock Gym

High School - Other Academic Options

  • Along with Bainbridge High School (our comprehensive school) and Eagle Harbor High School (our alternative school), we offer additional options such as:
Running Start (https://www.bisd303.org/Page/3261) provides the opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to attend classes at local community colleges and earn tuition-free credits. Students may enroll simultaneously in high school and college classes, or solely in college classes while fulfilling high school graduation requirements. For more information, contact the Bainbridge High School counseling office, 206-780-1251, or Eagle Harbor High School at 206-780-1646.
West Sound Technical Skills Center (https://www.bremertonschools.org/wstsc) which is located in Bremerton, offers an opportunity for high school students (ages 16 - 21 or in grades 11 and 12) to learn job skills as part of their public education at no cost to the student. Students who take courses at WSTSC can also take afternoon classes at their high school. Bus transportation is provided. Students interested in the WSTSC are encouraged to visit the center. Students must register with their high school counselor and at WSTSC. For more information, contact your child’s high school counselor.
