Welcome to science!

If you've had me before or you're checking in on who I am from your schedule, you may have noticed a name change here. I got married in mid-August so I'm in the process of changing my last name. Just call me Mrs. Davey!

I'm looking forward to exploring the science of life and the ocean with you this year! Our class may look a little different than it has in the past but with flexibility, patience, and grace, I know we're going to have an incredible year of discovery, science, and learning. If our seas grow rough and stormy, we're going to channel everyone's favorite Royal Blue Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus) and just keep swimming!

Students: Use the menu to the left to navigate to your class (Marine Science vs. Biology). There you will find the syllabus and Google Classroom codes. Make sure you enter the correct code for your class period! Google Classroom will be an essential resource for our class this year as this is where you will find most of our assignments and learning resources.

Families: Please navigate to the course of your student using the links to left to see our Week at a Glance. This is updated weekly and will give you an idea of what we are studying in class and what your student should be working on. You can also sign up to receive the Weekly Summary email through Google Classroom. Please email me if you would like to be added to the list.
