Attempt to cheat---0% on the test or quiz.

Long periods: Approximately 1 hour outside of class.
These are estimates; the times will vary with the individual student.
Collected and corrected daily at the beginning of following class period.
No late work accepted except one extra class period given for an excused absence.
To receive credit the assignment must be legible and include your first and last name, period number, lesson number, page number and problem numbers.
Exchange phone numbers with fellow students so you can get help when having difficulty on a problem or technical problems with the on-line textbook.
Standard supplies: pencil, eraser, notebook paper, graph paper, ruler, graphing calculator.Graphing calculator: If you are purchasing a calculator the TI-84 Plus CE or TI-84 Plus C is highly recommended. A TI-84 Plus orTI-83 Plus will work. I do NOT recommend higher TI models or other brands of graphing calculators. TI-NSPIRE, TI-86 or TI-92 not allowed.
IN CLASS GUIDELINES:
*Questions in class are welcome and encouraged.
*Attend every class. Schedule medical/dental appointments at another time whenever possible.
*Eat breakfast. Eat lunch. It's hard to concentrate when hungry. Having a snack quietly and discreetly in class is fine.
* Cell phones are distracting. This class need your FULL ATTENTION for the entire period. Keep them off and in your backpack unless I ask you to take them out for an educational class activity. Only use of a real calculator, not a cell phone, is allowed for math work.
* No earbuds in ears unless given permission. Again, your FULL ATTENTION is needed.
*Do assignments NEATLY! Remember a real person (me!) actually tries to read these.
*Please sign out before leaving the classroom.
*Check your grades frequently and ask me if you think there is made a mistake. No offense will be taken. I keep excellent records and post grades often. I keep all your papers in an organized fashion and you may find a missing score in the “No Name” folder.
