Instructional Support Services

Bainbridge Island School District is committed to providing appropriate education for each individual child. The general instructional program is designed for a large cross-section of students. Instructional Support Services address specific learning, physical, emotional, and developmental challenges that interfere with a student's educational progress and achievement.
The Instructional Support Services department:
  • Coordinates specific instructional services suited to the unique needs and capabilities of individual students.
  • Provides extra support for students who are overly challenged at any time in their school career. 
  • Provides special education services for eligible students that will help them achieve to their fullest potential.
  • Works with students and families to ensure each student is able to be successful in school.
The Instructional Support Services Department supports students with appropriate teaching and learning as they address the above considerations.
