This is my sixth year as a teacher librarian in Bainbridge Island School District. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve in this role supporting reading and learning in our school community. For the 2020-2021 school year I will be working at both Sakai
and Commodore Options
I have been teaching since 1992. The first half of my career I taught in the areas of special education and reading. I have a master's degree in teaching (MAT) focused on special education students with learning disabilities.
In 2007 I completed a Master of Library Science (MLS) degree. Before coming to Bainbridge Island School District, I worked as a school librarian at Bertschi School in Seattle and at Island Park Elementary in Mercer Island School District.
I live on Bainbridge Island and enjoy hiking around Fort Ward. Maybe I will see you there!
