• Annual Washington State School Report Cards
Each year the State of Washington issues a report card for each public school.  We take great pride in the achievement of our students.    You can visit the OSPI (Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction) and view our Wilkes Elementary Report Card and the Bainbridge Island School District Report Card.
Throughout the year, teachers use a variety of formal and informal assessment tools to monitor student progress and plan for instruction.   Most often, the day to day monitoring of student progress within the classroom setting is the primary form of information gathering.  However, teachers also use a range of more formal assessment tools to measure and assess progress.  If you have questions about any of these tools, please contact  Principal Whitney Skarbek or Counselor Katie Brase

    Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA)
Our 3rd and 4th grade students participate in the State mandated testing in English language arts and math at the end of the year. You can learn more about the Smarter Balanced at http://www.k12.wa.us/assessment/StateTesting/MSP.aspx
All district students in grades 2- 4 take a Fastbridge computer adaptive reading (aReading) test and a computer adaptive math (aMath) test three times a year.  You can find more information about Fastbridge at  https://www.bisd303.org/Page/11232
