The pre-season information meeting - March 1st from 3:15 - 3:45 PM in the Commons.
To participate: All students must have a “C” or better in all classes. All paperwork and registration must be current and complete (all paperwork is on line). There is a $150 participation fee due before the second week of practice. Make checks payable to WMS and turn them in to Ms. Guy in the Attendance Office or pay on line. Athletes must have proper attire to attend practice, including shoes and sweats. We practice in all weather conditions.
Team Uniform: We provide a jersey for all participants. Jerseys will be checked out and must be returned at the end of the season; a lost jersey fine is $75.00. Solid black shorts or WMS gym shorts are required for meets. If possible, to appear as a team, we request that athletes also wear black sweatpants and a WMS sweatshirt to meets. Optional WMS Track sweats will be available to order on line by the start of the season. More information will be available at the March 1 meeting.
Volunteers needed! We are very fortunate to have a large turnout of volunteers each year. There are many volunteer opportunities including: 1) runners once a week to take the milers on a run, 2) field event specialists and 3) home track meet volunteers.
