The athletic participation fee at Bainbridge High School is $250 per sport/season. The application process for financial assistance with athletic participation fees has changed for the upcoming school year. Athletic participation fee reductions shall be granted to students whose families would have difficulty paying by reason of their low income. The USDA Child Nutrition Program guidelines (i.e. free/reduced price meals) shall be used to determine qualification for a fee reduction. The application form for USDA Child Nutrition Program can be requested at the main office and returned to Associate Principal Jake Haley or BHS Accounting Secretary, Sarah Spray. It is very important that all sections of the Child Nutrition Program form be completed and signed by the parent, particularly Section #6 that gives the school permission to use this data to determine fee reduction qualification for programs other that the school lunch program. Athletic fees are non-refundable and must be paid before the athlete competes in the first contest of the season.
Athletic Director determines athletic and academic eligibility for all student athletes, including Club sports. BHS students must be passing five out of six classes to be academically eligible.
