Grad Night Out 2013 

Grad Night Out is a once-in-a-lifetime graduation event!  The venues are “Top Secret” but the activities are not!  We have a fantastic night planned, filled with dancing, music, games, entertainment, surprises and food.  NO ONE should miss this fantastic opportunity!

What is Grad Night Out?

Senior year is a milestone for all of our seniors and it is a Bainbridge tradition to celebrate this milestone with an all-night event.  Grad Night Out is a special, fun-filled event for all graduates, with a history of over 95% of all seniors participating.  Grad Night Out is sponsored by the parents of seniors and is a substance-free, chaperoned, all-night celebration.  It is an evening of fun with friends and acquaintances from the last 12 years, making this the last opportunity to celebrate as a whole class.  Parents and seniors alike say that Grad Night Out is well worth the cost as it provides a healthy, safe opportunity for our graduating seniors to celebrate with a large offering of exciting activities.

When is Grad Night Out?

Grad Night Out begins shortly after graduation on Saturday, June 8th, 2013.  Following the graduation ceremony and family photos, the seniors will load onto buses waiting at the side of the high school and will travel to several “mystery“ venues.  This all-night event will conclude the following morning at 5:30 AM, Sunday, June 9th, when the graduates will return to Waterfront Park on Bainbridge Island where they need to be picked up by family. 

How much does it cost and how can we afford this?

Every effort has been made to keep the costs reasonable.  We are offering an early bird ticket price of $225.00 to those buying tickets before Jan 31st. Tickets after January 31st, 2013 will be available for $245.00 per student.  There will be no additional expenses for this event.  The ticket includes an evening filled with entertainment at multiple venues, transportation, dinner, snacks and beverages all night.  Reservations can be made by dropping off payment and forms during senior registration, BHS Senior Parent Night or by mail at any time during the school year.

Partial and full scholarships are available to anyone who requires assistance- no one has ever missed Grad Night Out due to an inability to pay.  All seniors can attend regardless of their financial situation.  Please contact Helen Stevenson, Ticket Sales Chair, at Stevenson@sounddsl.com or 842-6885 for confidential scholarship assistance.

What you need to do

As soon as possible, complete the Reservation Form AND the Permission to Attend / Hold Harmless Agreement.  BOTH FORMS ARE REQUIRED. Both you and your student need to read and sign the Permission to Attend / Hold Harmless Agreement.

• Complete the Allergy form, IF NEEDED.  
• Mail the completed forms and your check payable to “Grad Night Out”  BHS Grad Night Out c/o Helen Stevenson, 10206 Country Club Road, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 
• For those who can, please contribute any amount towards the scholarship fund- this is greatly appreciated and will offset the need for fundraisers later.  Every bit helps! 
• There will be a volunteer sign-up sheet at the BHS Senior Parent Night.  We welcome all students from BHS, Running Start and Eagle Harbor HS.
