The community is invited to a fourth meeting at which a presentation, time for Q&A, and small group discussions will occur on Thursday, May 23, 10 am - Noon, in the Bainbridge Public Library. Staff and public feedback to the SCC is critical. Previous community presentations occurred on Tuesday,5/7, in Commodore Options School Commons; Tuesday, 5/14, Wilkes Elementary School Commons; and Thursday, 5/16, in the BHS Commons. Outstanding Math Educator - The Washington State Mathematics Council and the Olympic Educational Service District were thrilled to select Woodward Middle School math teacher Wendy Kozina as a recipient of the 2013 Excellence in Mathematics Education Award. She was commended for her contribution to mathematics education in our regions and for making a difference in the lives of her students.
