  • STEAM camp dates – The district will offer summer camps that integrate science, technology, engineering, the arts and math (STEAM) at Captain Charles Wilkes Elementary School on the following dates:

    • July 20-23: Elementary students entering grades 2, 3, 4 or 5 in September 2015
    • July 27-30: Intermediate students entering grades 6, 7 or 8 in September 2015
    We are currently accepting applications for high school volunteers (entering grades 9, 10, 11 or 12 next September) until Friday May 8. You can access volunteer applications here: http://goo.gl/forms/gXgavMCkVBRegistration for campers will go live on the district website May 15, so stay tuned!

  • Public Meeting — The Bainbridge Island School District will hold an open public meeting Tuesday, May 12, 4:30-6 p.m. in the Conference Room at the BISD Administration Building, 8489 Madison Avenue NE. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the Title VII multi-year Indian Education Act Formula Grant Application, which will partially fund the district’s 2015-16 Indian Education Program.
