Winter Sports Update

For an update on winter sports at BHS see Ellie Van Slyke's write-up in the Spartan Standard here. Gymnastics and Boys Swim & Dive are at their state competitions Feb. 17-18 and we will get you updates as they come in.

BYS Summer Internships

The Bainbridge Youth Services' Summer Internship Program applications are now live! If you are interested in gaining invaluable career experience, making some money, and learning job skills, this is the program for you! For more information, check out the FAQ here and the application here. You will need to be 16 years old by July 10th to participate.

  • ****Important: New system for signing up for AP Exams****

    Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Bainbridge High School requires all students to take AP exams for the AP classes they are currently enrolled in.

    For the 2017 AP exams, students at Bainbridge High School will be registering online. This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access.

    Each AP exam costs $95.00. To submit payment in person, check or cash must be given to Mrs. Spray by Friday, February 17 at 3:00pm. If you plan to pay online, go to the online payment link and submit payment by Sunday, February 26 to a avoid $15 late fee per test. Students requiring financial assistance should contact Nicole Bakker, nbakker@bisd303.org, in the counseling office to learn more.

    Online Exam registration will begin on Tuesday, January 17th, at 7:00 AM and end on Wednesday, March 1, at 11:00 PM. In order to register, students should click on the link provide on the school website under "Site Shortcuts".To complete registration, students must answer all of the required questions completely and accurately. Registration is not complete until students have printed the pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end. more info

  • Future Footprint  

    Future Footprint - Communications Digital Arts

    The CTE Department is hosting a Future Footprint Speaker Session for high schools students during both lunches onTuesday, February 28th in the BHS Library Reading Room. Bring your lunch and find out how professionals got into their career and what they enjoy the most about it. Speakers include a communications/marketing specialist, public information officer, film director, artist and animator. The CTE Department will be providing cookies!

  • "Career In"

    The CTE Department is coordinating the "Career In" program for students age 16 or older that would like to find an internship on Mondayafternoons this spring. The 2017 "Career In" program will last for 10 weeks (10 Mondays) and take place from 2:00-4:00 PM each week. Students will need to complete a resume to apply and participate in competitive employer interviews.
    Interested students should stop by Mrs. Brown's office in the Career Center in the BHS Library. Don't delay if you are interested in finding out more about the program and which employers are participating. Student resumes are due to Mrs. Brown by February 28th (jbrown@bisd303.org).
