Welcome! My name is Rebecca Grue. I love teaching! This is my seventh year teaching at Wilkes Elementary School. I taught first grade for four years and this is my third year teaching Second Grade. I grew up on Bainbridge Island and actually attended Wilkes in 3rd grade! I am so excited to be able to teach in the community that inspired me. I received a Masters Degree in Teaching from the University of Washington in 2005, and I have an Undergraduate Degree in Sociology also from the University of Washington. I love the outdoors, and spend my time hiking, camping, kayaking, and traveling! I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year! It is going to be a wonderful year!  | |
