Hello! Welcome to my classroom webpage. This is where you will find information about me and the classes I teach. Use the tabs on the left to find more details about 5th grade Math and Language Arts. I have been teaching at Sakai since March of 2011, and I have been working in elementary schools since 2001. My family is military so we have moved around the United States quite a bit. We have called Washington home since 2007, and we love it so much, we plan to stay. In my free time, I like to read or write poetry (especially on a sunny day … outside … swinging in my hammock…). I also have two dogs, Koa and Stella, who enjoy taking me for long walks or swimming in the bay. My kids are teenagers, so I don’t see them very often!
